  • The Director of Communications and Creative Solutions will manage and create content for our social media, website, and projects. They will develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and followers. This role requires monitoring and reporting on social media metrics and trends, along with a creative mindset and strong writing and editing skills. An interest in marine literacy and digital marketing is essential.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and create content for social media platforms (30%)

    • Develop and implement social media strategies (20%)

    • Create ad-hoc graphics and new logos to support events and initiatives (20%)

    • Monitor and report on social media metrics (10%)

    • Engage with the online community and respond to inquiries (10%)

    • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices (10%)

  • We are seeking a Finance Director who is passionate about marine conservation and eager to help secure funding for our initiatives. No prior experience in grant writing or ocean conservation is necessary, but strong writing skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research potential grant opportunities (30%): Identify and evaluate potential funding sources.

    • Write and submit grant proposals (50%): Draft compelling proposals to secure funding.

    • Track grant applications and reports (20%): Maintain records of submissions and manage deadlines for progress reports.

  • We are looking for National Coordinators to help manage our growing chapter network and national projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • National leadership management (35%): Coordinate and serve as a mentor for national cabinet members to assist in project execution.

    • Coordinate chapter network (35%): Work alongside your Regional Coordinators to manage our growing chapter network and support local projects

    • Global collaboration (30%): Maintain close contact with other national coordinators and team members to assist in planning international campaigns.

  • The Director of Virtual Events will collaborate with another director to plan, execute, and manage online events that promote marine literacy and conservation. This role requires creativity, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the ocean. You will work closely with our team to deliver engaging and educational virtual experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    • Event Planning and Coordination (40%): Develop and organize virtual events, including webinars, workshops, and panels.

    • Collaboration (30%): Work with the co-director and other team members to ensure smooth execution of events.

    • Marketing and Promotion (20%): Create and distribute promotional materials to increase event participation.

    • Feedback and Improvement (10%): Collect feedback from participants and use it to improve future events.

  • As a Programs Officer, you will oversee the implementation of various ocean conservation programs. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders to achieve our conservation goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Program Development (35%): Design and plan new conservation programs.

    • Implementation and Coordination (35%): Manage and coordinate ongoing programs.

    • Stakeholder Engagement (20%): Work with partners, volunteers, and community members to ensure program success.

    • Monitoring and Evaluation (10%): Track program progress and evaluate outcomes.

    Reports to the President, ED you will oversee the implementation of various ocean conservation programs. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders to achieve our conservation goals.

  • The Education Officer will be responsible for creating and delivering educational content related to ocean conservation. This role involves developing curricula, organizing educational campaigns, and engaging with schools and communities to spread marine literacy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Curriculum Development (40%): Create educational materials and programs for various age groups.

    • Outreach and Engagement (30%): Coordinate with schools and community groups to implement educational initiatives.

    • Content Creation (20%): Develop and distribute educational resources, such as articles, videos, and infographics.

    • Evaluation and Reporting (10%): Monitor and report on the impact of educational programs.
