Dr. Shubhangi Thakur is a Delhi-based Indian public health researcher, policy advocate, and UNICEF YuWaah Youth Leader who dedicates her career to social justice, women's wellness, and health equity. Originally trained in clinical dentistry at the Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research, she transitioned into macro-level public health advocacy, focusing heavily on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and menstrual hygiene management. Her expertise has earned her a seat at high-level policy consultations with India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the WHO, UNFPA, and PMNCH to amplify youth healthcare needs. Today, she bridges the gap between healthcare and environmental activism by serving as the co-founding Frida - Women's Health Advocacy Lab, an initiative that recently helped establish India's first-ever Parliamentary Forum on Women's Health to address how gender, climate change, and healthcare access intersect.
